Raju Rao

Director TVRLS, Ahmedabad

Raju Rao is a postgraduate in Personnel Management and Industrial relations from XLRI Jamshedpur (1994 Batch) and a Ph. D. in Management from M.S. University of Baroda (2008). He worked for four years in the Corporate Personnel Department of the Torrent Group, Ahmedabad before joining TVRLS in 1998. He has 25 years of rich experience in the field of HRD. He has conducted workshops on Team Building, Consulting Tools and Psychological testing. He has been trained exclusively in Psychological testing (MBTI) and consulting interventions at NTL, Bethel (USA).

At TVRLS, he is involved in core HRD interventions like Performance Management Systems, 360 Degree feedback, HRD Audit, Leadership Development, Competency Mapping, Managerial Effectiveness. He is actively involved as an assessor in Assessment & Development Centers for Assessors’ training, designing instruments for development centers, conducting DCs and in developing DC manuals for various companies. He has been a key resource in the certificate programs of Competency Mapping, 360 Degree Feedback and HRD audit offered by TVRLS. He has consulted in the international arena as well in the form of workshops on Performance Management Systems and 360 DF for the Mauritius Quality Institute at Mauritius, Competency Mapping workshop for the team of Action Aid in Hanoi.

He has also conducted seminars in HRD Audit for CII Ahmedabad and Kolkata. He has taught HRD courses in NIRMA, Academy of HRD and Aurora Business School. He has co-edited two volumes of the book on ‘360-Degree Feedback and Performance management Systems’. He has presented various articles in international conferences and is also a faculty in HRD in some of the leading management institutes in Ahmedabad.
